Oh good grief!
are fingers not connected to hands
and toes to feet?
do tongues not wag in heads
with eyes that take in all there is to see?
this would seem to be a given…
Oh dear, this is to smirk! But the somewhat funny part is that I went grocery shopping for “fun foods” this afternoon–and one of my purchases was a box of Fortune Cookies….well, I tried 2, and I’m wondering WHO in the HOTEL writes these dang useless things?!!! And what are those numbers about, after the stupid sayings? This last is a Serious question, as I suspect you’ll know the answer.
All those unemployed English-lit majors are sitting in a back room working for noodles… And those numbers are for playing the lotteries: do you have 6/49 or something similar? Because taking a chance on the cookies wasn’t enough….
I don’t believe in wasting the money – our provincial lottery was originally started to fund sports and leisure programs for youth: that never happened and no one seems to care about following up…

My budget doesn’t allow for lotto tickets–just edible gambles!
