I can tell you what i’d do but that probably wouldn’t be well-received by your son… At our house we always say we “export well” but dinner with us (trial by fire under the best circumstances) is a good indication whether the invitee can cut it or not: Anyone who doesn’t have the gusto to join the free-for-all usually doesn’t last long…
