Unfortunately, civility and class don’t stop people from being insulted or affronted by the truth…Learning to keep one’s mouth shut and smile politely wasn’t such bad advice from Miss Manners after all!
I get really good at not offending anyone for long periods of time and then all of a sudden I’m like that cranky toddler that tells everyone the way it is and sends them scurrying – just can’t help it. It’s funny how those of us with, let us say, “large” personalities find each other in the virtual world!
What spurs people on to commit this type of indecency is that they feel above the common man: they assume everyone is stupid and can’t/wouldn’t understand their motivation so are justified in hiding their actions (just look at the Wall Street banks…)- It seems as though many are afraid of the truth, not for what it reveals, but more because of the alienation that results from the telling…
Tell it like it is with grace and poise??

a little polishing the karma in this way would be good for our German bishop who made some lies to get secretly 41 million $$ to have a fine residence …

Well, I’ve been called “edgy”…and other things–depends on the day, I guess. (Took the shine right off my halo, eh?)
