Black and white is great, makes for moody evocations (not of the occult, just so you know) which birth poetry. I hadn’t thought about black and white working for fall–usually I think winter; either, though, is full of treasure.

It’s true, b/w makes the unremarkable “evocative” just like you say – I was struggling with this challenge – silhouettes are tricky!

I love silhouettes–and I’ve seen them done with a single color “wash”, I guess you might say–very dramatic.
