I watched more tom and jerry than sylvester the cat.
watching my cat I can understand where the humor comes from. Kryton loves to sit on the balcony trying to catch the pigeons. So glad we but up a cat net.

Good point, my son is shocked when he sees old cartoons on DVD. He can’t believe how many things were allowed that would be blocked now…

And even with that in mind, they were much better written, had more of a sense of comic timing and actually required that one pay attention to get the laughs. Just think about how much classical music is in our subconscious minds because of Looney Tunes…
