Spam was better in tins
Not sure about anyone else but January has brought a veritable rash of Spam to our comment box that ranges from the idiotic to the downright obscene – Akismet aside, didn’t we already pay someone to deal with this?
It is! And I get all of those too :-) There are others that are couched in misleading language that can fool us into thinking they are clean, The worst though are known followers who shamelessly attach their videos and links to comments!
I like the spam that reads first as a real comment before telling he about his firend who bought followers or likes or something else to post his blog, social media account. I have to ask are people so desperate to increase their number of followers and pay for it but see no difference in views to their blog or whatever account.
If you want to eat spam for breakfast fry it up and serve with eggs and toast.
I had one that actually made sense – until I read it 3 or 4 times and went back to my own post to see if it actually made sense in relation to it, which it didn’t. Don’t these people have anything better to do?
I never click on their links – I figure it must be in spam for a reason – I do look at which of my posts the comment was made on though to see if it could possibly have any correlation… usually it doesn’t!
Yes, I had a deluge too, but it’s tapered off. I always wonder if there might be an ingredient in the Viagra/Cialis pills to give me more poetic energy…half my spam comes from them.
That’s a riot – I get nfljerseys, cheapuggs and knockoffvuitton (I won’t go into the unmentionables),- none of which I watch, would wear or want! I also get the occasional spam that asks me to stop whining although I thought I only did that in the privacy of my own home…

Nothing worse than shameless self-promotion – just more from the “I’m special” generation!

Well no because it is there way of making money if you click on the link. I know it is cheeky but someone has to make money buy it.

Yeah, I had one of those “stop whining” ones–so peculiar!! Kind of relieved to hear I’m not the only one–thanks!
